CHARD gave a very good account of themselves against league leaders Hornets and were somewhat disappointed to lose.
Skipper Clive Adams rotated his full squad during the game and they gave Hornets as close a game as they have had all season and was pleased to welcome back Roger Summers for the first time in several months.
Chard are at home to Taunton-based side Wyvern on Saturday – kick-off at 2.30pm at Crewkerne Road.
