ILMINSTER Angling Association members fished round two of the Royal Oak Winter League on the Isle on Sunday.
Again the river was in good condition with a tinge of colour and a decent pace with good weights recorded from the Isle Brewers section. Jamie Rich (Against Men and Fish) made it two wins out of two in the league with a weight of 12lb 2oz from peg 123. Rich had three decent chub plus roach on the pole and caster. Robin Cox (Ilminster) was second with a net of quality roach weighing 10lb 10oz from peg 126.
Third place went to Taunton’s Graham Field with over 130 fish weighing 9lb from peg 125.
This week there is a V.E.S. Precision league match with the draw at the pub between 8.30am and 9am.
