SOUTH Petherton lost 78-74 to North Petherton in a close game for the Careford Cup despite winning two and drawing one of the four rinks.
Rink scores: H Peterson, B Eckland, D Russell & P Hutchings won 19-14; J Raikes, U Black, D Hingley & T Peterson drew 20-20; S Donovan, E Bernstein, G Manuel & B Careford lost 15-28; P Burgess, A Eckland, D Gaylard & L Symes won 20-16.
