YEOVIL Town manager Gary Johnson will be appealing to supporters to get behind the club’s ambitious food store plan development at Huish Park – via a DVD message.
Fans at tomorrow’s npower League One clash with Walsall will receive a DVD which will contain Johnson’s views on the food store proposals being put forward by the club and CDS Superstores International for the training pitches at the north of the Huish Park site.
And Johnson, speaking to ITV, said: “The club has worked very very hard to keep this club in League One. That's what they've done. The area now and the stadium just needs a little bit of an upgrade, and that's really where we are. We hope that the supporters will lobby the council and support it for us."
