AFTER an extended period without a game due to the weather, Combe St Nicholas returned to action on Saturday and were beaten.

It was a strong performance from Watchet as they continue their title challenge and move into second place with the win.

For Combe, they remain in 14th, second bottom, and very much still in a relegation battle.

Up next, they host Stockwood Green on Saturday, March 9 and it will be yet another difficult match and a real six pointer as whoever wins moves higher in the table.

Elsewhere, Combe St Nicholas Reserves lost at the weekend playing at home against Forton Rangers.
