CHARD Town have confirmed that tonight's Toolstation Western League (First Division) match at home to near-neighbours Bishops Lydeard will go ahead at Zembard Lane (7.30pm kick-off).
The Robins' last three matches have been postponed due to the recent rain and snow, so Paul Down's side will be relieved to get cracking with their congested fixture list.

Lydeard sit 12th in the First Division standings, one point ahead of Chard in 13th, but they have played three more games.
There was good news for Chard yesterday afternoon, as the Western League tweeted that "The FA have granted the league an extension to the season and it will now finish on Saturday 5th May".
This should help with the Robins' fixture pile-up, as they were facing nine games in 19 days.
