FOR the fifth match in row, Ilminster AA members headed to Dillington Pond because the river was unfishable.

Everybody managed a catch and some decent weights were recorded.

Jamie Rich caught some quality roach and rudd on caster, winning his third match on the trot, this time with 84 fish for 12lb 10oz from peg 18.

Bruce Hunt was second with a nice net of roach and rudd weighing 9lb 7oz from peg 19, catching on the long whip.

Justin Charles was third with 8lb 11oz of roach and rudd from peg 17.

After eight matches Rich leads with nine points followed by Robin Cox on 11 and Hunt on 13.

The next match is the annual open next Sunday with the draw at the Royal Oak between 8.30am and 9am.

Results: 1 Jamie Rich (Against Men and Fish/Burt Baits) 12lb 10oz, 2 Bruce Hunt (Tiverton) 9lb 7oz, 3 Justin Charles (Ilminster) 8lb 11oz.
