SOMERSET got off to a winning start in their T20 campaign, beating Gloucestershire by four wickets in an exciting see-saw derby game at Taunton.
The visitors recovered from a slow start to notch 190 for 6 from their allotted overs.
Steve Kirby was the pick of the Somerset bowlers with 2-22, while debutant Yasir Arafat bagged 2-32.
In reply, Somerset lost skipper Marcus Trescothick first ball before Craig Kieswetter smashed a brilliant 89 not out.
Jos Buttler hammered 29 in 13 balls to up the rate at the crucial time before Arafat hit the winning boundary with a ball to spare.
