Crunch match for Chard 1sts

THE Chard 1st XV were without a game last weekend, but return to action this coming Saturday with a home tie against Oldfield Old Boys in a 2.15pm start, writes Glyn Hughes.

This is a big game for Chard as Oldfield currently sit below them in the South West One (W) table and it will be a golden opportunity for Chard to move into a mid-table position and significantly increase the gap between themselves and the teams below them.

Chard supporters should note that the postponed game away at Paignton has been pencilled in to be played on Saturday, December 22.
