COMBE St Nicholas Village Hall finished the year in floral fashion with two festive flower arranging workshops.
The ladies made wreaths for their front doors using a variety of foliage, a few flowers and some unusual materials including Brussels sprouts and leucadendron.
Among the groups were Anne Perez and her mum, Lois DePury, from Chard.
Anne said: “We had a great time watching Jackie demonstrate how to create beautiful Christmas wreaths before we had a go ourselves. Mum and I each had a lovely wreath to take home.”
Local tutor Jackie Nicholls from Ashville Design, who runs the workshops, said: “To see a mum and daughter relaxing and enjoying such a lovely craft together is so rewarding.”
