FIRE: Three fire engines called to tumble dryer fire in South Petherton
THREE fire engines were called to a tumble dryer fire this morning in South Petherton.
The crews, from Martock, Ilminster and Crewkerne, were sent to the scene at Lightgate Villas just after 10.30am.
The tumble dryer fire was out on the crews arrival, and they used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to assess the damge and make the scene safe.
Crews confirmed there to be slight smoke damage to the area around tumble dryer.
