A YELLOW weather warning has been put in place across the South West.
The Met Office issued the warning at 3.46pm this afternoon over concerns of thick fog that has developed across the county and elsewhere in the region.
The message also stated concerns that the fog could cause bad driving conditions.
It said:
"Areas of fog, which have not cleared in some areas during Thursday, will become thicker and more extensive this evening.
"Patches of dense, freezing fog will then affect some areas through the rest of the night, although probably more restricted to parts of southwest England by Friday morning.
"Please be aware of likely tricky road travel conditions."
