NEW equipment is being installed at a play park in Ilminster “after a slight delay”.
Ilminster Town Council confirmed that works on the West Crescent Play Park have started.
The council said the delay was due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
An update from Ilminster Town Council read: “After a slight delay due to unforeseen circumstances, we can now confirm that work has started on the West Crescent Play Park.
“The park will now be out of use until further notice.”
As stated on the town council’s website, the West Crescent Play Park has a slide, swings, two embankment climbers, and tyre steps.
