ILMINSTER Tennis Club earned two awards at the prestigious Somerset LTA Tennis Awards last week.

The club was named Club of the Year across Somerset and on top of that, Jeremy Searle was named Volunteer of the Year.

Speaking about the awards, a spokesperson from Ilminster Tennis Club said: "Ilminster Tennis Club have won the Somerset LTA Club of The Year and also Jeremy Searle winning the volunteer of the year award for all his hard work as club secretary.

"Ilminster & Jerry now going forward to the regional awards. Congratulations to all the hard working members of Ilminster Tennis Club & Jerry."
