Taunton Magistrates' Courts in St John's Road, Taunton
A MOTORIST has appeared in court after being caught speeding on the A303.
Taunton Magistrates' Court heard that Leanne Marie Phillips, 46, of Pound Hill, Donyatt, hit a speed of 84mph on the dual carriageway near Sparkford.
She pleaded guilty to the offence when she appeared before the magistrates yesterday (Tuesday, January 3).
The offence was committed on October 11 2021.
Phillips was fined £146 and must pay a £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs.
She was handed three penalty points on her driving licence.
