Electrical fire in Ilminster
FIRE crews were called to a property in Ilminster after smoke was found - but no fire.
The call came from Silver Street at around 20.19pm last night (Sunday) after the call saw smoke but could not see what was causing it.
Engines from Chard and Ilminster attended to find the cause.
Crews discovered that the smoke was coming from a cable that was melting onto the electrical feed for the property so the electricity company was called.
The kitchen was five per cent smoke damaged.
