ILMINSTER Cricket Club held its annual presentation night for its youth section on Friday night (September 4).
Players, coaches, parents and club supporters all joined together at The Shed on Ilminster Recreation Ground for a night of celebration as the club looked back on another successful season.
The event was also held as a “club open day” for all members of Ilminster CC and the wider community to find out more about the club.
The club received £100 sponsorship from the England Wales Cricket Board and Waitrose to help fund the event which included a barbecue and other refreshments.
Ilminster CC’s senior end-of-season dinner and presentation night will take place at the Shrubbery Hotel on October 17.
But the future looks bright for Ilminster cricket in years to come with some talented young players coming through the ranks.
