AN elderly woman was treated by paramedics when she developed breathing difficulties following a fire.
Fire crews attended after being alerted by a call collection agency to reports of a fire alarm activated in a home in Buttle Close, Shepton Beauchamp, at 9.41 today, Saturday, February 14.
The fire involved a cooker hob and had been put out before firefighters arrived.
The occupant had evacuated and ventilated the property, which was smoke logged.
The fire crews called an ambulance to treat the woman.
