A FABERGE pot bought for £5 in a car boot, Winnie the Pooh sketches valued at £60,000, a collection of knickers owned by a vicar’s wife, and 1966 World Cup tickets worth £20,000, are just some of the Antiques Roadshow discoveries from past visits to Somerset.
The show is back in the county at Barrington Court, near Ilminster, on September 18 at 9.30am.
Doors close at 4.30pm where people can see presenter Fiona Bruce delve into items people bring in.
Anyone keen to attend, but wondering how they might get an item too big or too heavy for their car or public transport to the show, need not worry – just email antiques.roadshow@bbc.co.uk or write in to Antiques Roadshow, BBC, Whiteladies Road, Bristol, BS8 2LR.
