Horton MM Committee has received a letter from the Queen’s Lady-in-Waiting thanking it for its message of congratulations on Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.
The committee built a giant reconstruction of Buckingham Palace behind Horton village hall as part of Jubilee celebrations this summer and sent photographs to the Queen.
Lady-in-Waiting Susan Hussey said: “The Queen was pleased to see the photographs and was interested in the replica of Buckingham Palace in the grounds of your village hall.”
