A BOARD game in Crewkerne has won the 2023 Muddy Stilettos Award.
The Board House’s team said they are “over the moon” after receiving the award for ‘Best New Lifestyle Start Up’.
A message from the team said: “We have won the 2023 Muddy Stilettos award for 'Best New Lifestyle Start Up' across Bristol, Somerset & Dorset and we are over the moon.
“We love the community we've found in Crewkerne and it's been so amazing having everyone's support.
“We are a board game cafe with almost 400 different board games available for people to play.
“We are passionate about all kinds of board games and love teaching and recommending new games to our lovely customers. We are always on hand to help with the rules as well as get your drinks and cakes that keep you going.
“We've found that people of all ages love board games and it's great having such a mix of people.
“We have games for little ones, family games, party games, strategy games, heavy games, and even adult-only games.
“We're open from 11am until 10pm so you can join us for coffee, milkshakes, and cakes in the day or even cocktails in the evening or at our events.
“This is a very exciting time for us and we're so honoured to have won the award! We have lots of new plans coming soon too so there's more to come.”
