THREE miniature goats stolen from a barn near Crewkerne more than four months ago have been found nearly 40 miles away.

The Nigerian Dwarf goats, a nanny and her two three-week-old kids, who were stolen from a barn in South Perrott have been reunited with their owners.

The burglary occurred at a secure barn sometime between 5.30pm on November 27 and 9am on November 28.

Offenders forced the padlock open in order to gain entry.

The goats were found across the border in Dorset in the Tarrant Keyneston area near Blandford on April 10.

No arrests have been made.

Police Constable Tim Sturgess, of Bridport police, said: “I would urge anyone who has any information about how these goats ended up in the Blandford area to please contact police.”
