STAFF and children at Haselbury Pre-School have celebrated their recent ‘good’ Ofsted report.
The inspection was held on September 30 and the pre-school has come away being rated as good across all areas.
In the report, the Ofsted examiner said “children are happy, confident and feel valued”, “have good self-esteem ... and consistently show respect and kindness to others”.
“Staff use their thorough knowledge of individual children to plan and teach activities that focus very well on building their existing skills and extending them further,” the report said.
Bridget Reader, committee chairman, added: “I was thrilled to read the fantastic comments made in the Ofsted report.
“It shows how hard the staff work and what a happy, caring and successful pre-school it is.”
Haselbury Pre-School was established in 2005 and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2015. It is run by a voluntary management committee with a team pre-school staff.
