A CREWKERNE guide dog charity is celebrating after it was given a £400 cheque by Rotary.
The Yeovil and Crewkerne Guide Dogs for the Blind Fundraising Committee was given the money by the president of the Rotary Club of Chard, Robin Williams.
The gift was part f the club's on-going financial support for local charities.
A cheque for £400 was presented to the local representative of the charity, treasurer Sue Marks.
It was the result of funds raised at a recent Swing Band concert held at the Guildhall in Chard.
The handover was also attended by five month old dog Vince and his owner Iris Chapple.
Iri is a local puppy walker, and Vince is th 21st dog she has taken on.
