A MODEL train exhibition took place in Chard last Sunday (April 21).
The event, linked to the Wessex Association of Model Railway Clubs, took place at the Guildhall.
The photo gallery above, by Melvin Green, shows some images of the models that featured at the exhibition.
A message on the Wessex Association of Model Railway Clubs read: “We are an association of Model Railway Clubs, Groups, and Traders, working together to promote the wonderful hobby of railway modelling within the Wessex area of the UK.
“The Wessex Association works with our member clubs, offering support to run exhibitions, find new club members, and promote club events.
“As well as supporting the member clubs of the association we also hold our own annual Model Railway Exhibitions: January – Frome Model Railway Exhibition (The Cheese & Grain, Frome). April – Chard Model Railway Exhibition (The Guildhall, Chard) September – Wimborne Model Railway Exhibition (The Hamworthy Club, Wimborne).
“Would you like to join the Wessex Association? Feel free to pop along to one of our exhibitions to have a chat with one of the committee members or alternatively send us a message through the ‘contact us’ form.”
