ANOTHER new business is set to open in Chard next week.

Just Sew Sentimental is run by Chard resident Susie Evans, and is set to open with a launch event on Monday, April 10.

The shop will be opening at 11am at 3 Stringfellow Gallery in Holyrood Street.

The business offers embroidery services, selling embroiding clothing and bags, Kanzashi gifts, hair bands and clips, jewellery, bath bombs, crochet, frames, baby things, wooden goods and more.

Councillor’s and members of Chard Business Voice will be in attendance, and there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new shop.

Susie collected the keys for the shop last week and has been preparing the store for its big event.

She said: “We are less than a week away now from the grand opening of Just Sew Sentimental.

“I can now confirm that the shop will be opening on Monday, April 10 at 11am.

“We have been in the shop this week, fitting and stocking ahead of the big day.

“I know that Cllr Cathie Morrison will be there and we have invited the Mayor.

“We will be having a cutting of the ribbon to official open the shop, we just need to confirm who will be doing it.

“Everything is all boxed and ready to move to the shop now.
