TRAFFIC: Drivers face delays near Chard after crash outside pub
DRIVERS near Chard faced long delays earlier after a crash on A358.
The crash was reported shortly after 11.30am on A358 Axminster Road near Pop Lane in South Chard.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said they had been called to a two vehicle collision, but that no one had been injured.
South Western Ambulance service were called to the scene and checked over a woman but treatment was not necessary.
The road was partially blocked but the police did not close it.
Traffic reports said there were delays near Ye Olde Poppe Inn in Tatworth, but the owner of the pub said the crash was near the Church of St John the Evangelist.
