Car crash in Chard results in leaking oil
A CAR crash in Chard resulted in over 300 litres of oil leaking into a garden.
Fire crews from Chard and Taunton and the Environmental Protection Unit were sent to the incident at Oak End Way jist after 2.15pm.
A car had gone through a garage at the location and tipped over a heating oil tank which resulted in 200 to 300 litres of oil leaking into the garden.
Crews made the vehicle safe and secure and set to work to stem the oil leak.
