SOUTH-West members of the UK Youth Parliament – including South Somerset’s Cat King, 17 – planted a fir tree at Bishop’s Hull House in memory of the suffragette campaign on votes for women in the early 1900s.
They were helped by Natalie Bennett, leader of the Green Party, Tessa Munt, MP for Wells, and Cllr Kate Taylor, of Plymouth City Council.
