FORCE collision investigators are appealing for the public's help following a serious road traffic collision yesterday (Wednesday) morning in Tatworth.
The incident happened at 9.35am on the A358 Axminster Road at Tatworth. Two vehicles were involved in the collision – a red Hyundai Accent and a gold coloured Peugeot 106.
Police believe the Hyundai was travelling towards Chard when it appeared to go out of control on a bend and was in collision with the Peugeot, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Peugeot is believed to have suffered life-changing injuries, including broken legs and arms and was airlifted to Musgrove Park Hospital.
A police spokesman said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may information to help their enquiries."
