COUNCILLORS are to look at the possibility of replacing trees in Chard town centre.
Cllrs Dave Bulmer, Sandra Pittwood and Garry Shortland are to see if they can bid for money from the Market Towns Investment Group to carry out a tree planting programme for Fore Street.
The project would involve removing some existing trees and replacing them with new ones.
The project could cost in the region of £15,000.
