TATWORTH Amateur Pantomime Society is ready to take to the stage this week with its annual show.
The society performs Tom, The Piper’s Son at the memorial hall from today (February 23) until Saturday with an extra 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday.
The story starts in the small village of Tottering on the Brink, where the audience will meet the characters, the goodies and the baddies.
The goodies include Dame Foxtrot and her hard-working son, Tom, Georgie Porgie, the dame’s uncertain beau, and the Fairy Harmony.
The baddies are the evil Knave of Hearts, who stole the Queen’s tarts and was banished from the kingdom, and his two hapless henchmen, Bucket and Spade.
