THE search is on for this year's 'royalty' to take centre stage at Chard Carnival in October.
Chard Carnival Committee is again looking for entries for its annual Carnival Princess and Miss Chard competitions.
To enter the princess competition, entrants need to be aged between six and 13. The lower age limit for Miss Chard is 13 and there is no upper age limit.
The winners of both competitions will receive a photoshoot with a local photographer, hair and beauty treatments, a prom dress, jewellery and accessories.
