CHARD police are appealing for information following the theft of money and tobacco from a house in Silver Street.

The incident happened at about 10am on Monday, April 11, and police have received descriptions of three youths they would like to speak with.

The first is described as a white male, about 5ft 10in tall, of slim build but not skinny. He had short dark hair with brown eyes and a slightly rounded face and aged between 18 and 20. He was wearing a black, long-sleeved hoodie top.

The second is described as a white male, about 5ft 8in tall of slim build with short dark hair and aged between 16 to 18. He is believed to have been wearing a dark top.

A third white male, aged in his teens, is also wanted by police.

A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at time of the incident or recognise the descriptions of the three people we are looking for.

“We would also be very keen to hear from people who know of anyone who is offering tobacco for sale.”
