A FARMING firm are still experiencing 'operational challenges' after an IT issue resulted in store closures last month.

Mole Valley Farmers and Mole County Stores have now reopened, but are still facing disruption after an IT incident, which meant all stores had to close on August 27 2023.

There were concerns that personal data had been compromised due to the incident, however Mole Valley Farmers have said they have 'no evidence' that any personal or financial data in their systems has been compromised.

In a statement, the firm said: "As a result of an IT incident, we continue to experience operational challenges which means some of our retail stores continue to trade on a limited basis.

"Orders can still be placed through moleonline.com. Please be advised there may be some delays to deliveries as a result of technical issues impacting our fulfilment operation.

"We would again like to thank all of our customers for your continued patience and understanding. The farming and rural community knows how to pull together in difficult circumstances and we are hugely grateful for the support and understanding you have shown us at this time."
