THERE is something to suit every petrolhead - and art lover - at upcoming auctions.

In the first two weeks in October, Charterhouse have four days auctions, featuring a range of vehicles, from cars to motorcycles, convertibles to classics - as well as some amazing antiques and interiors.

“There is a vast array of items from classic and vintage cars¸ motorcycles and art ancient and modern from a country house near London along with antiques and interiors,” said auctioneer, Richard Bromell.

“It has certainly been full on which with the valuers travelling around helping and advising clients and their hard work has paid off with some great lots.”

First up is the Charterhouse auction of classic and vintage cars on Tuesday, October 5.

The auction, which has vehicles dating from 1931 through to the 1990s, has convertibles, saloons, estate and sports cars. There are Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Bentley, Ford, Volvo, Mini and Morgan to name but a few.

With cars needing full blown restorations to show cars, viewing for this auction is at Haynes International Motor Museum on October 4.

Next up, in their Sherborne salerooms, there are two days of auctions on October 7 and 8, perfect for antique lovers, collectors and interior designers.

There are hundreds of lots with pictures from the 18th to 21st centuries, sporting items and a collection of Beswick along with country antiques and interiors. Viewing for this auction is on Monday 4 to Thursday, October 6.

Finally, Charterhouse are back to the Haynes international Motor Museum for their auction of classic and vintage motorcycles on Thursday, October 14.

Just like their auction of classic cars, there is a great choice of motorcycles ancient and modern with bikes dating from the 1920s onwards.

Triumph, Ducati, MV Agusta, Vincent, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, AJS, Greeves, BSA and Velcoette and many other bike brands will be sold.

There are barn-stored projects, daily riders and thoroughbred sports bikes in the auction with estimates up to £30,000.
