A FIRE engine from Martock was called to a car crash just after midnight this morning.
The fire and rescue service attended the scene on the main road from Martock to Bower Hinton.
A brigade spokesman said: "On arrival it was found that this incident had involved two vehicles, and that one had left the scene.
"There were no people trapped and the service made safe the one vehicle that was still in attendance.
"The police were requested to attend, due to the dangerous location of the vehicle."
