NEW equipment has been commissioned at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton to enable more keyhole surgery to be carried out.
Consultant gynaecologist David Wrede said "Laparoscopic or keyhole surgery is the way forward. It is far better for patients, recovery time is quicker, pain and scarring is reduced.
"People get home and back to work much sooner than with traditional open surgery."
