THE sunshine has not stuck around for Somerset as the county's cloudy early morning is set to persist throughout the day.
In their South West summary, Met Office said: "After a bright start, cloud and patchy rain will arrive from the west, which will move eastwards during the afternoon, fading as it does so.
"It should be a fine end to the day. Feeling fresher than recent days."
The maximum temperature is set to rach around 18C, before falling to a minimum of 6C overnight.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "Any early mist and fog will soon clear to leave a dry and bright start on Wednesday. However, cloud and rain will arrive from the west during the day. Fresher."
The temperature is set to peak at around 16C.
