TWO people were taken to hospital with neck and back injuries after a crash in Crewkerne last night.
The incident happened on the A30 at about 7.30pm.
Fire crews were called to reports of a two-vehicle crash, where it was believed no one was trapped but one vehicle was smoking.
One appliance from Crewkerne fire station attended.
Once on scene they were able to confirm that no one was trapped and that no vehicles were on fire.
Crews made both vehicles and the scene safe and attended to two casualties while awaiting the arrival of paramedics.
Two casualties were later conveyed to hospital with suspected back and neck injuries.
