Tissues and credit cards at the ready because Christmas is officially here (on November 6) as the new John Lewis Christmas Advert has landed.
This year's ad features a little girl attempting to send Christmas cheer to the lonely old man who lives on the moon who she spies through her telescope.
Big budget, sure to tug the heartstrings with its wordless story and piano and soft vocals soundtrack, the John Lewis advert has become almost as much a part of modern Christmas as mince pies and this year's effort is a stellar one.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to Debenhams to satisfy my sudden craving for department store goods, as John Lewis is a bit too far away for my liking.
