CAN we stop blaming Tesco for our failing town centre? Ilminster also has a Tesco and their town is thriving. Let Tesco sell electricals (The Factory Shop does and they are out of town) and sort the traffic out through the town.
Queueing for ages at the lights, only to find that town is gridlocked, doesn’t help.
People should have a choice to shop local, online or to go out of town. In this day and age it is about convenience with shift work and longer days. Times are changing – but please no more supermarkets in Chard.
