DELICIOUS fresh baguettes and fine cheeses will be filling the stalls of the Marché de France when it returns to Chard, Ilminster and Crewkerne this weekend.

The Marché - a group of genuine Gallic traders - will also be selling croissants, ham, sausages and a range of other produce.

The market comes first to Chard on Friday, where stalls will be set up in Fore Street, rather than the Guildhall where they were last year.

On Saturday, it will head to Crewkerne to set up around the town hall.

Crewkerne mayor Mike Best said: "Last year was such a huge success and lots of people have been asking when the market would be back, so we are really pleased that Marché de France has agreed to come again.

"I hope that locals and visitors will come along to support the event."

On Sunday, the market will return to Ilminster town centre. The Crewkerne and Ilminster dates published in the News (March 7) are wrong.
