Emergency fire crews were called to Chard this afternoon to soak up 25 litres of spilt milk.
Two appliances from Chard with the Environmental Protection Unit and support appliance from Taunton were sent to East Street following a report of a large amount of milk spilt onto the carriageway.
A fire service spokesman said: "On arrival at the scene crews confirmed approximately 25 litres of milk spilt onto the highway.
"Crews confirmed that no milk has gone into drains or water course and the milk was stemmed using aborbent material."
