A MAN will appear in court charged with theft of property from the allotments in Chard.
Stephen Roy, 43, of Chard, will appear before South Somerset Magistrates in Yeovil on September 29 with one count of theft against him.
PC Paul Thomas, beat manager for Chard, said a wildlife camera installed by one of the allotment holders was used to help with police investigations.
He also said two spades and a Beachmaster fishing rod which went missing have now been recovered.
Anyone missing those items should contact him at Chard Police Station to arrange a viewing.
