CHARD and Ilminster could experience 'heatwave' conditions over the next three days, the Met Office say.
A warning has been issued by Public Health England as temperatures are predicted to soar above 30°C across the country.
There is a 30% chance of heatwave conditions across the South-West.
Temperatures yesterday and today were hovering around 21°C, but they are expected to rise to highs of 26°C or 27°C over the next two days.
