HUNDREDS of school children descended on Frogmary Green Farm in South Petherton to get a glimpse at what life on a farm is like.
Potato suppliers Branston told the children how potatoes are produced and pond dipping and a visit to the chicken shed to see newly hatched chicks was also on offer.
The event was part of Open Farm Sunday, an initiative to celebrate British farming and allow members of the public to visit local farms.
