A COUNCILLOR will abseil down the side of County Hall next month to raise money for Somerset County Council chairman David Fothergill’s chosen charities.
Cllr Linda Vijeh, who represents Ilminster, will test out how brave she is when she abseils down the building in Taunton on Thursday, April 3.
Money will go to the National Autistic Society, Somerset Trust for Arts and Recreation and to help flood victims.
She said: “I have only ever abseiled once before – it really was fun and I’m looking forward to doing it again, especially as it is in support of such good causes.”
