WITNESSES to a two-car collision on the A356 on Sunday (February 9) are being asked to come forward. 

The incident happened at Turnpike Cross in Misterton shortly after 12.30pm and involved a dark blue Toyota Hilux and a dark blue 3 series BMW.

A woman in her 20s, who was a passenger in the BMW, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.

Investigating officer PC Andy Grigg, of the collision investigation unit, is appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward.
