AXMINSTER Catenians presented a cheque for £500 to help a young woman help others in the South Pacific.
Isobel Worrall was awarded the money from the Catenian Bursary Fund, which helps young Catholics undertake voluntary charitable work.
The grant will enable her to travel to the Diocese of Auki in the Solomon Islands – a relatively new Catholic community in a very remote location.
She will live with local people for three months, during which time she will teach and give liturgical advice to schools and parishes.
